New safe houses opening soon
We have a new safe house opening very soon, providing two more rooms for survivors of trafficking and other forms of violence. In addition, there are two more flats in the pipeline.
A mother’s Pride
Maria’s son is gay, which is an offence in the country where she was born. She stood by him, which led to her being abused, outcast and eventually trafficked into sexual exploitation. ‘Pride is…a sign of hope,’ she says.
It’s time to hold traffickers to account
The Coalition to Stop Slavery is organising a roundtable in June 2024 where leading anti-slavery experts and criminal justice practitioners will address this issue head-on.
General Election recommendations
Together with more than 60 other anti-slavery organisations, we have signed a joint statement of recommendations to political parties in advance of the general election this summer.
Becca’s ‘marathon madness’
Up for a (huge) challenge this Spring and inspired to support Ella’s, Becca took on not one but TWO marathons, raising a brilliant £1,300!
