More than just a snack

Halimot is an incredible woman, mum, baker and businesswomen. She is also a survivor of child trafficking and exploitation. And now she is also the proud creator of TRIBE’s latest bar flavour.

Woman sitting by desk with energy bars

We’re over the moon to see TRIBE’s new energy bar flavour on sale now, created by wonderful Halimot.

The Banoffee Choc Chip Protein Energy bars are not only delicious, they are also 100 percent natural and energy boosting.

Arguably best of all, they help raise funds to provide vital support for survivors.

My Banoffee Protein Bar is more than just a snack; it’s a symbol of resilience, strength, and healing. It’s the story of how I turned pain into something beautiful and nourishing. Every bite is a reminder of how far I’ve come, and how far we can all go, even in the face of darkness.
— Halimot

Halimot’s love of baking blossomed when we supported her to complete a course at Luminary Bakery, a London-based organisation running cafes and training to help women at risk. After completing the course, Halimot started her own cake-making venture called Haliberry Cakes. On top of being a baker of delicious cakes and a busy mum of four, she dreams of opening a coffee shop for survivors.

We were delighted when TRIBE invited Halimot to create their newest flavour, working with their development chef in a test kitchen. After carefully trying out and testing flavour options, we took a vote and the Banoffee Choc Chip came out top. We can’t wait for you to try it too.

Twenty-five per cent of the profits sold from the bars will be donated to Ella’s, so they will do a lot of good for some of the UK’s most vulnerable women as well as for your taste buds and energy levels. You can order yours here.
